Granny's Pine Tar Drawing Salve

Splinters, boils, bug bites, and other skin impurities were common irritants back in the day.  This is a 1700's recipe that combines the drawing properties of Plantain, Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Pine Tar, castor Oil, Tea Tree Oil, and charcoal.  The Old Timers used to swear by this salve to draw out bee stingers, embedded wood or metal splinters, dirt particles, and infections.  It was a popular salve from the satchel that they called "Granny's Medicine".  No chemicals.  Just soothing and effective natural ingredients.
