Beware of knock offs: Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope

The value of a 1910 formula for protecting against all biting insects that has worked for tens of thousands of people who love the outdoors cannot be under estimated.  Many people have tried to duplicate the recipe.  However, it is a very precise and intricate formula developed by Obie Sherer back in 1910.

For those who try to duplicate the formula by a "whiff" test, Good Luck!"  Even if someone could come close to this amazing concoction they are using ingredients that are manufactured today.....not how they did in back in the day!

When you purchase the real Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope you are buying the "exact" formula with ingredients that are duplicated in the "old way".

Modern repellents, even knock offs, rely upon lathering your skin with who knows what to hopefully keep mosquitoes, black flies, no-see-ums, and even ticks from landing on you.  If you miss a spot on your exposed skin, too bad.

The original Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope actually interferes with the insect's receptors that detect the carbon dioxide flume that you exhale when breathing.  Therefore, if the biting insects cannot recognize you as their next Golden Corral buffet, they have no interest in you.

I cannot help you if you insist on buying a 6 ounce aerosol can that will last a few days.  However, you can invest in a 2 oz bottle of Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope that will last you a full season or more!

Just took this camping this weekend, put some on a bandana just like when I was a kid. Not a bite! Thank you!
