Yes, this is the original formula for Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope. We have taken the time to purchase or manufacture ourselves the ingredients the way that were produced over a hundred years ago. No easy feat!
The only compromise is our plastic bottles. Glass is not safe in the woods.
As for application, just a few drops will do you! A drop or two on your cap bill, bandana, and shoe laces will do the trick. Unlike chemical repellents that try to prevent biting insects from landing on you, Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope actually interferes with an insect's receptors to detect your carbon dioxide flume when you breathe.
