How can I stop gnats from biting me?

The reason gnats come after you in swarms is because gnats are attracted to the carbon dioxide flume that you emit when you breathe!  Most so-called repellents rely upon you spraying yourself with copious amounts of chemicals or sweet smelling perfumes to help prevent gnats from landing and biting.  How is that working for you?

The trick, however, is not to block a gnat from biting you, buy rather to prevent them from finding you in the first place!
