In Maine, we say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope

Since 1910 when Obie Sherer first created his legendary formula for Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope, literally thousands of outdoors enthusiasts have testified to the effectiveness of his product.  When Obie saw that native Americans seemed to be impervious to biting insects, he knew that there had to be a link between humans and mosquitoes that could be broken.  He set out to create an odor that interferes with a black fly's ability to detect the carbon dioxide that we all exhale when we breathe.

Utilizing an 1882 masking scent formula developed by deer hunters, he created Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope.

For over one hundred years, it is still the world's first and the best protection against biting insects on the market.  Biting insects include mosquitoes, black flies, noseeums, and ticks.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
