Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope is Not Sold in Stores!

Most outdoor enthusiasts say that one of the most valuable things in their backpack, tackle box, camping gear, or home is a bottle of Ole Time Woodsman Fly Dope. That may not be the case if they had to pay $50-$60 a bottle at a local retailer! The expense of sourcing and/or duplicating the production process of the original 1882 formula in today's market is very costly! However, if it is not exact, then it is not the original! In order to keep our customers from mortgaging the farm to buy a bottle of Fly Dope, we have decided to eliminate all distributor and retail margins. Talk about burning bridges! We are confident that just like our founder, Obie Sherer who sold his first bottle of Fly Dope to a logging camp in Maine, we can keep the tradition alive, One Bottle at a Time, 120 years later.
